Really enjoying this COLD aspect of Hell. It brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “when Hell freezes over”. Ikaroth seems like an interesting character. And while I am still trying to figure out Anaado, its safe to say he is not the smartest demon in Hell!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I keep bouncing between thinking Anaado is either the worst double agent ever or the stupidest person ever.

Either way, hopefully Spooky comes out of this realizing how much better he can do than this incompetent.

Well, Anaado has been imprisoned and tortured since Spooky got out of hell, apparently. Not a particularly great learning environment!

I really want to know how old Anaado is.

Spooky’s first time card calls him adolescent. That was 7 years ago.

oh come on anaado, if this is all true, then i guess you TRIED to do a certain thing, but it obviously didn’t work. i also wonder more on what the original plan was if she DIDN’T notice spooky
this also doesn’t quite answer the other questions, but at the same time it does due to him saying “i was sure we’d have more time”, could’ve been why he started pushing a bit with that plan from before, but spooky caught on to it being fishy
also i love ikaroth already, is that bad

She has a very cool and over-the-top visual design, so I think I do too, even if I’m mostly scared for Spooky (which iss…. nothing new for this chapter, tbh).

Anaado’s plan has seemed to have worked completely as far as the dimension traveling and all the magic was concerned.

Just all of it didn’t have the effects on a much more grown-up Spooky he had imagined!

“… so she wouldn’t detect your presence!”

Because nothing hides as effectively as looking and smelling EXACTLY like you did when you last met an apex predator.

A smell she’s bound to notice in a moment if Spooky’s underwear just became casualty.

Our Spooky is made from sterner stuff than that.

Perhaps.

Even though, there’s no shame in some of that sterner stuff landing in the seat of his undies. 🙂

Anaado, my boy, you’re making a less and less convincing case

Also, Spooky, are you channeling Steve Irwin in panel 4 with your facts list?

hm, is Ikaroth blind? Obviously she can sense magic just fine, but maybe she doesn’t have normal vision with those bleeding eyes. if that’s the case, a swarm of magical anythings might confuse her long enough for two people to make a run for it.

The script say she has 2*3 eyes. Maybe she has more of a spider’s vision than a human’s. That woukd explain the way she doesn’t look directly at them, but see them.

Her gig is ice and despair and that’s exactly where she’s going now!

ANAANDO: Will people STOP proving repeatedly that this was a stupid idea?

Did she offer Anaando something to bring Spooky back? What the… er… (geez, I just walked into THAT one) aych-eee-ell-ell is going on?

Wow, Anaado, you are really proving to be the ex from Hell indeed. And you expect Spooky to trust you with his body, considering the judgment you’ve displayed so far? If anyone needed a “come to Jesus” moment, I would say it’d be you right now.

Given where he’s coming from, none of this is really a big surprise…!

Well Anaado, if you really are able to get the two of you out of Hell, now is the time to fess up.

So lets get this straight. Anaado wanted to remind Spooky of how bad demon royalty is, so he stripped Spooky of his powers so that they could not (in theory) be able to detect him, and then brought him into the domain of one of the most dangerous ones. And he was expected to… what? Sit on the sidelines, eating popcorn and watching while Ikaroth performs random atrocities?

Spooky: Okay, Anaado, you’re not making our next plan!

She had a whole show planned and everything!

Sooooo, does that mean that he still have Kyle’s power or not?

Some of us joined and fought in Vietnam because we were in love (with a Marine in my case). Among my more inept life choices, but we were young. I respect those who fought, stayed here and resisted, or sought refuge elsewhere. It is the ability to honor your convictions and duties as a citizen that I honor.
So vote! It is every citizen’s duty.

Icy Hot *snortlaughs*

This reminded me of my Mom and Dad. She would put the thermostat down to 64F when we went to bed. THEN, my Dad would come home late from work and put the thermostat up to 72F. She’d wait for his snore and put the thermostat back down. The next morning she would wake before Dad and turn the thermostat up to 68F and pretend. After we kids left for school, she’d turn the thermostat down to 64F before Dad drove her to work (because no one was home all day to use the heat). The endlessly awful up-down/up-down cycle.

I thought about Icy Hot, but that is a pain relief brand.

With a chapter name like ‘The Death of Spooky Jones’ you have every right to be worried.
I mean, it could be metaphorical, allegorical, or just plain Alex-is-trolling-us, but it’s as ominous as all get-out.

Sid is a young, bratty, and somewhat disturbed 11-year-old skate punk with metal braces, whose idea of fun is terrorizing his little sister, Hannah, by taking her toys away and using them for scary experiments, like
