I don’t like Anaado……and I trust him even less than I like him……which is to say I would prefer to have teeth pulled without novocane……to embracing this……this “being” as “good”

I love him! He’s probs the most normal person out of the bunch! If you came back to find someone you love shagging somebody else and swinging around the kind of power The Spook is doing, wouldn’t you be mad?

The real question of his character will be how he reacts now that he’s calmed down.

For a demon who learned that you can love, it may still be hard to grasp that you can feel deep for two at the time.

I am not saying all is forgiven and fine. A hell trip is a ..well, one hell of a temper tantrum reaction, but this is signs again, of the Anaado that a young (quite fast matured)) Spooky came to love. As I’ve expressed earlier, Anaado has an extreme reaction to the anger and panic, being about to loose the freedom he just got back, and the love that had been his only hope for years – not to mention his life, as we now know.

People can react very irrational. Add demon, their powers, and a new power boost, and you may get *this*. I hope they can finally talk things through, after the first big emotional rush is over.
Doing it in hell makes it a bit harder to find a good time, to fully sit down and talk. Possible interruptions every where you turn.

Plus, if demon psychology is anything like human psychology (and it 100% may not be), Anaado has just been through years of incredible trauma (explicitly torture, plus whatever else happened). He’s likely to be suffering from some pretty severe mental after effects, like PTSD. That isn’t to say what he did was by any stretch of the imagination okay, but it’s going to be pretty hard for him to be operating rationally at this juncture.

I say this as someone with PTSD. If someone had said to me, “Back you go to the situation that gave you PTSD,” there would have been no cool on my part.

anaado has a lot to learn about love, it is something very good and something that can help you keep going, but it’s also WAYYY more complicated, and i think it’s slowly starting to sink in that spooky is telling the truth. it also helps that spooky is using the right words here, GOOD COMMUNICATION IS KEY IN ANY RELATIONSHIP

If this has been discussed elsewhere forgive me for not having seen it, but has anyone else ceased receiving email notifications for the Young Protector comics pages? I think I stopped getting them in July, I figured it was a one time glitch, and I know how to Google, but with this arc winding down, now I am wondering if I am not going to know when the next arc starts.

Just back from gaming. I see that the evil faces on the mushrooms have turned up. Now expecting them to try and attack and eat Anaado and Spooky, and thereby give Anaado the opportunity to say “I’m sorry” in deeds rather than words.

I’m actually still waiting for Anaado to say he’s sorry…

That’s a good point. I seem to be running ahead of myself with the assumption about what direction that this will take – let alone that Alex isn’t teasing us and wont zag back towards ‘bad Anaado’.

Gosh I’m so glad Anaado calmed down ;___; I hope they can now discuss matters more level headed! Noone says it’s easy to do so but it’s definitely more productive ^^ And I believe in Spooky, he’ll find a way to save them both >/////<

I don’t know what to think about Anaado

I can understand Anaado’s consternation. He doesn’t know Kyle, but in his experience, all Diabolical Princes are vile and pure evil. He’s been too stubborn to let Spooky explain how Kyle differs from Anaado’s Weltanschauung. I keep wanting Spooky to tell Anaado how Kyle took on his own dad, but Anaado hasn’t exactly been in a listening mood. Now that he might be, Spooky has learned that—unless they find some new magical solution, only one of Spooky’s loves—Kyle or Anaado—can survive. So, assuming Anaado is now in a cooperative bent, where do they get a new bodily vessel for Anaado so that Kyle can be.

Unfortunately I doubt that many demons in hell have their body donor card up to date…!

Any volunteers?

Is it wrong that I am oki, about them just taking another demon body for the purpose, if it’s one of the evil, mean ones that would attack them? If it’s one they would otherwise kill in selfdefense anyway.

Well, he certainly felt abandoned, frustrated and was in lots of pain in the years the other demons were torturing him in hell after Spooky was gone and he is shocked that Spooky would associate with exactly one of those hated royal demons who had been torturing him.

And, of course, he knows nothing else but hell, so dragging Spooky back to his home turf would have seemed logical.

Just: Now what?

I read him as someone who just got out of years of prison and torment, likely living in a constant defense mode, and in his fear is ready to do anything to stay out of that prison – not to mention that the love that kept him going is now hella more complicated than he expected, and a body-excorcism would lead to him being dead.

All that in a span of a couple hours tops, with emotions running on high. That’s way more than just a jealous ex situation.

I even think this is all still within the hour of Anaado’s appearance!

THE SMALL, SPINDLY-ASS BIRD-OF-PREY IS TOTALLY BELIEVABLE AS THE ‘BACKBONE OF THE KLINGON FLEET’ INSTEAD OF A HEAVIER SHIP LIKE THE K’TINGA OR THE VOR’CHA! Got a weird question I think this fanbase can handle: how do you make a polyamorous relationship work?

Background: I run a lot of RPGs and one of my players has used magic to learn how she can successfully romance both of her potential love interests, she gets an answer, but I have no idea what it is. (Prophecy rote under time 4 Mage: the Awakening if you want specifics)

I take it that this is a prediction, meaning that this is how is how to get it to work in this particular situation with these three people, not in general. It is possible that there is no way she can get it to work. Or that she needs to use mind control magic.

This is true. The problem is I personally have no idea where to start with this kind of relationship. I don’t want to just shut her down and say it’s impossible because I think it could be a cool story.

She’s to tell each guy that she is also interested in another guy, and wish to date them both, and do that quite early on. If both won’t be oki with it, it won’t work as polyamory.
Then, if both agree, find out whether the guys want to meet/know each other, or if they want to keep their releationships separate.

Rule #1 in polyamory. Everyone knows about everyone, otherwise it’s just cheating or multi-dating by having two lovers, and not polyamory. Both guys have to know about the other. Even if she has an open relationship with the one, and a closed with the other. Honesty, communication and openness.

Rule #2 If one guy shows sign of jealousy, talk it through or it will fester. Can’t be handled, it won’t work. Break up with that guy, or don’t date someone your bf don’t approve of to prevent larger issues.

Rule #3. Decide with each if you have an open or closed relationship, or if you have a closed triad.
Closed triad = both guys date her together (maybe guys also date each other), and only those three.
Otherwise it can be individually closed or open, ex. the one guy only dates her, while she also dates others and he knows this (but makes sure always to ask him first and/or not hide any new dates for him). It can also be open, so they both date other people while having a steady relationship with each other. Again, telling each other about any other date/encounter/bf.

I have never tried a polyamorous relationship. In fact I haven’t had many relationships, as I am happily single (have lately come to the realization that I am definitely demi-romantic), but at the same time I feel I would do better in a (maybe closed) polyamorous relationship than a one-to-one relationship.
As many other things relationship-/sex related things, I have read/researched the topic some. Just because something may not be my thing, or kink, I like to know the dynamics behind it. With polyamory, I looked more into it, because I already had an interest 🙂

Something that has also helped be understand it more, and know it could be for me, is that an author I follow turned out to be polyamorous privately, something she has been more/quite open about in the last few years. She is now living in a closed fourple -four people. She and her husband share a girlfriend -her first gf- and that gf is now also married too, to another man. The author and her husband actually helped the gf’s now-husband propose to their gf (confused? *lol*). After the gf got married, she and her hubby moved in with the author and her husband.
It’s not exactly a thing like this I would want, but her talking about polyamorous living a few times in blogs, and making comments about homelife, has been a help to realize what a goood/healthy polyamorous relationship is, and what isn’t 🙂

Hey Dave. I think Spooky & Anaado r gonna talk some more about the situation they all r in. Try to come to a solution so Kyle can b rescued.

I have no doubt that our happy little half-demon sexy boy will end up OK and Spooky will be happily eating ~~overcooked~~ pasta soon. But where will Anaado be? And who will think Spooky is among the dearly dead and departed?

If Anaado removes Kyle from his body and puts him in Spooky, it would b a kind of death of Spooky Jones. Perhaps Kyle and Spooky could share Spooky’s body.

I see this whole thing ending badly for Anaado…….Spooky will be boarding the “Guilt Train” at “suck it up” and Get over it”……He and his sexy half demon boyfriend (Kyle) will give up on the pasta, over cooked or not, and Kyle’s damage deposit…..to go apartment hunting .

No idea how likely it is, but it leads directly to the ‘Spooky and Anaado fighting back-to-back against a mutual enemy’ trope.
