I’d also like to make another small announcement: I’ve finally put this Web site fully in https! It’s a geeky detail, but I like that gives a bit more privacy for y’all and it’s something I’ve wanted to do for y’all for a while. HTTPS everywhere!

So! Spooky finally talks to one of his friends about Anaado! And then Kyle says he’ll help rescue that demon! But then, Spooky tells Kyle to slow his roll. Why would Spooky say that? What kind of plan is he forming? Is Spooky doing the right thing by bringing Kyle in on this? And could Kyle look any more handsome than he does in the last panel?

Hello Campers,
I’m late tonight in getting to the camp. I’m anxious to hear more from Spooky about what he thinks of Kyle’s offer of help.

I’m kinda around. Couldn’t sleep, so now waiting to see what happens first; me finally crashing or tablet run out of power. Hope page is up before either option, since I’m actually awake for camp, though closing in on me crashing. Luckily I’m off work today, so I can sleep in.

I think Spooky is right to demand Kyle think it over some more. And Spooky needs to inform Kyle more of the plan as well.

Does todays art look slightly blurry or smeared to anyone else?

No, looks good, as usual. Maybe the kindle stopped loading the full resolution for some reason.

When I tried to read the update yesterday, the site didn’t respond. Glad it does now!
Anyway, I hope the boys will involve the rest of the team.

I love every panel of this. I love the writing. I have nothing else to say today because FEELINGS

While I’m sure Spooky’s touched by Kyle’s desire to do the right thing(as well as Kyle’s desire PERIOD), he tells Kyle to “sleep on it” because he should.

Y’know, SLEEP on it. Eventually. 😉

Kyle will do it no matter what as a hero and as a friend

Hummm. Decisions, decisions. I think in Kyles shoes I would write the same check. Maximum care maximum chance at overdraft ya’ know? Love is blind in many fashions. Spooky explains his “tale of survival” Kyle says “fuk that, you are the first person I could love for real, if this will help you and your heart, lets go now”.

That’s my Spooky. He knows this is going to be difficult for Kyle, both for the risk but also emotionally.

Of course Kyle will jump right in. Not a minute of thought. He loves Spooky, and he idolize him too.
Spooky is well aware of this. Not going into the danger side, the emotional side will likely both include a new meeting with at least one Royal of Hell, maybe even a visit there, but if they succeed with the rescue, it will also mean a reunion with Anaado – and a much more possible intimate hurt for Kyle, as Spooky sort out his coming love life.

Yup, Kyle needs to realize/think about that, even though his response will be the same afterwards.
He’ll want to do it for Spooky, no matter the outcome for himself. I feel sure of this.

Well. A much more eloquent writing of the same idea I posted. Yep. I agree with ya Danish.

I’m really pleased to see Kyle rise to the occasion and show an empathetic reading between the lines, dropping his previous defensive mischaracterization of Spooky entirely and in spectacular short order.

This pleases me 🙂

Kyle’s a hero. Of COURSE he’s going to help. You fight monsters, he saves people. It’s why you make such a cute couple.

Glad they’re talking about what kind of dangers there could be, so there isn’t a blank check. I think Spooky’s trying to let Kyle know that love isn’t blind as much as he might want to “march into hell for a heavenly cause” to quote a phrase. Contrary to ol’ Velliok, it’s not the impossible dream.

I like your phrasing. In truth, Kyle has shown his level of power. I think he could fry our little butler to little crispy nuggets without a doubt!

Hmmm…..interesting…..I really didn’t expect Kyle to be so quick to jump on this….but then love is blind…..and we all know he loves Spooky.

I think it’s at least as much his commitment to helping other people, which is the whole point of his “day job”.

And there may not be anyone in the world feeling more related to a demon from hell trying his best to help than Kyle!

Kyle is a hero. That is how he sees himself. Heroes don’t let the monsters win.
