…something in the air? A storm brewing? A presence you have not felt since…? What?!

Over on the Patreon page, members of the Woolfpack are helping me choose a title. And, speaking of our awesome Patrons, it’s my great pleasure to send out a very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to the real superheroes of this comic who have been supporting our work month after month!

First let me thank a pack member who has been supporting our work for the last 12 months as of this week (May 12-18):

Keana B.

(You totally rock!)

I’d also like to send out a big thank you to the members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting our work for 24 months of this week (May 12-18):

Jordan, Matthew F., Ty H., Chris L., and Hereward M.

(Two years of support! Thank you so much, Jordan, Matthew, Ty, Chris and Hereward!)

And, finally, let me send out my biggest howl to those members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting this comic and our work from the very beginning!

Here are all the awesome readers who have been supporting me and this comic for 48 months (4 years!) as of this week (May 12-18):

Liz the Lucky, Steve, Tom, Antonio C., David D., Todd J., Jess O., Lisa R., and Jeff W.

Thank you so much, Liz, Steve, Tom, Antonio, David, Todd, Jess, Lisa, and Jeff! Y’all are so awesome!

Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!

So! Despite the cloak, The Platinum Priestess seems to be able to sense Spooky’s magic! The question is: what is she going to do about it? Will she attack Spooky… or will she choose a more vulnerable (but equally fluffy) target? Who is this “master”? And what exactly will happen when she’s able to reach him?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. That Woman (the Platinum Priestess) is one ruthless villain … Think she gives lessons on odd-numbered Tuesdays in being mean and nasty at the local community college.

  2. Is that Cory in the far middle distance of panel 3 in full view of the Priestess if she just turns around? The guy with the shock halo? Or is that someone new entering the story? Cory, you’re supposed to hide. If you’re not careful, you won’t be tied to a dumb ol’ tree. You’ll be tied to that altar.

  3. All she wants to do is save the world. Well, almost all.

Yes, it is. Only we can see the shock halo, though.

  4. PP seems so matter-of-fact in discussing what to do with these children. Chilling.

  5. For her, there is no reason why children should deserve any special regard.

  6. “I sense a disturbance in the Force…” stage whisper Go Cory go!
I like the b&w pages, I can amuse myself mentally filling in the colors XD
Spooky better hurry with charging up his Hyper Beam…

  7. Avatar for john john says:

Apologies if this was already discussed - but PP doesn’t look like she went back NEARLY so far as Anni - certainly not 14 or so.

  8. It hasn’t been discussed yet, and I think you’re right. I’m guessing it has something to do with her being somewhat older than Anni to begin with, but there could be other reasons.

  9. But will she sense it in time to do anything about it?

    True. Definitely something worth exploring.

Lots of other reasons. Or perhaps, one really good one.

  10. Foreshadowing! But what could it be?

  11. Maybe Sircea was never old in the first place. Maybe she’s always been youthful and used an illusion of age so Duncan would think that was why she needed his help. Maybe she pretended to be weak and old to mirror his own fears.

  12. Hmm. I really like how you’re thinking about that, David.
