So! Spooky was finally able to pry the Priestess’ staff from her grip! (With a little help from 101 Laser Bears, of course.)

What happens now?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. I laughed out loud when I saw this! PP certainly lacks imagination!

Two things come to mind. One is to hope that if the old staff has some kind of homing device built in, it is limited in speed so it requires a book or two for it to make it back to earth, even if it does work magic. The second is as the staff goes out through the rip in the space-time continuum does the hole close or will earth’s atmosphere be sucked out into space?

I hope those bears enjoy their frolic with ol’ PP.

  2. OMG same here, I had to laugh out loud when I just read it and still don’t get over it, giggling will most likely continue for a while :joy:
So I guess Spooky got his own back now, so how did Cory and Mitch use the diversion? Did Mitch fetch all the kids yet? Is Cory still hidden and safe, bumping Minion heads?

  3. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

    snort

I see what you did there, Alex. I didn’t know that Sircea’s last name was de Vil.

  4. Wish there was a way to post a clip of the Macho Man Randy Savage saying “OHHHH YEEEAAAHHHH”!!!

  5. In the laws of magic (?) no. It has been removed only. Not acted upon in fact, just moved. SO, should be no immediate reaction. Since it has been the source of the energy (?) for the spell in the “warp hole?” by that I mean I have no idea what to call it, the spell should collapse as the item passes through it. The source negates the energy. Hum, it sounds like I know what I’m talking about? No. No clue. Just speculating.

  6. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

If Spooky can create an army on the spur of the moment, who can stand against him? On the other hand, if it is all about imagination, Sircea needs only imagine a larger army.

  7. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

OK. It is not. It is hitting her leg just above the knee.

  8. This is funny in black and white line drawing. It’s going to be hysterically funny in color.

  9. Yay! (And I totally had the same reaction when Adam first sent me the pencils for this page.)

Some interesting speculation there. And you are soon to find out.

Good questions. Things were going pretty well last time we checked in. Maybe we’re do for another touch-base.

They definitely share a thing or two in common.

Which you know I love when y’all do that.

A very good question. One that several teams at the Department of Extraordinary Security have spent many hours trying to answer.

The colors always add so much. Especially with these intricate, action pages.

oh this is great. here’s hoping the staff will go kablooey and wreck that pesky portal…
hmm why is “still alive” stuck in my head all of a sudden~

  11. That is indeed surprisingly adorable.

    Yay!
