NEW PATRON THANK YOUS

The only reason I’m able to keep making The Young Protectors is because of the very generous support of readers like you on Patreon. And we had a bunch of new folks sign up over the last few days! So, please join me in sending out a very special thank you and welcome to the new members of the Woolfpack this week!

black2hearth, O, Benjamin B., Mario B., James M., Josh M., Low Chun M., Erin N. and Jeff S.

Thank you so much for your amazing support, black2hearth, O, Benjamin, Mario, James, Josh, Low Chun, Erin and Jeff!

So!

So! It’s midnight. Who is this woman in Spooky’s office? Why is she so glad to see him? What does she want? And how long did it take for her to put together that incredible hairdo?

Tune in Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

Comments From The Young Protectors Community

  1. OMG This must be Spooky’s former assistant! Didn’t sth terrible happen to her? I have to go back and re-read the comic!! she looks like she’s a really nice and cheerful one, but… changing the past is prob a bad thing… aaaarrrrggghhhh!

  2. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

Aaaarrrrggghhhh! indeed. Flyboy has some real tough choices to make.

  3. Yes.

Even more information about Cassidy can be found in the Patreon-only short stories.

But would Flyboy be able to resist? Would Spooky, if he knew?

    Yes.

  4. Nice to see Ms Cassidy Moore at last.in the comics proper. And I think her hair might’ve gotta an assist from Miss Clairol or maybe some other product. I was immediately reminded of this commercial from 1982: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRp0h85H8ow .

That hair style also reminded of something else, and I hope I am quite wrong in my new suspicions. It could be a coincidence after all, and poor doomed Cassidy should get the benefit of the doubt for now.

  5. bronakopdin reminded me who that lady (Cassidy) was and now i’m afeared ~_~
but yay we’ll see past Kanya aka Mah Girllll??

  6. A very interesting (and, I’m sure, effective) commercial for its time.

Again, you have me intrigued by your suspicions, David. For the record, those are “victory rolls” in her hair.

    It’s a distinct possibility.

  7. @dswxyz h-hold up. Victory rolls?? uh-oh… now I have Suspicions too, I think they’re contagious! either we’re much farther back in the past than I thought, or Cassidy’s really into a retro-glam style (which I myself also appreciate). I hope for Mitch’s sake it’s the latter but the former would be extremely interesting plot-wise… ah, but her saying “I’ll stick with vintage” might be a clue lol

  8. The main action of The Young Protectors starts in 2011 and continues into 2012. Young Spooky lives in 2007.
