So!
So! This bad guy can completely cancel Spooky’s magic. And now he’s got a noose around our young hero’s neck! That pull in Panel 5 looked really scary! How will Spooky respond to this? He’s got to have another trick up his sleeve, right?
Right?
Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀
I think Spooky needs a safeword.
Jeez, I hope Mitch can do sth and soon
No, NO, NO. Our Spooks that survived in hell as a 13 year old boy is NOT in trouble! Also flyboy is still there to “appear” overhead with something heavy to drop on the master wizard/demon. He is oozing confidence and needs to be taken down. PS. We haven’t seen a pissed off Spooky yet. He was using low level magic and he even said so! Boom is coming! Gotta have faith my friends!
What’s that saying?
Pride Goeth Before the Fall…
Agreed!
He’s pretty hurt himself…
Ordinarily, I couldn’t think of two people more deserving of your faith. But they are young. They might have met match with this guy…
Luckily Spooky is getting lots of support from that rope. No risk of falling now!
Assuming the Bad Guy hasn’t nullified green energy entirely, Spooky ought to be able to create a pair of giant green scissors and cut the rope that’s holding him up. Or Flyboy ought to be able to hold Spooky up and reduce the slack. But those would only be temporary measures. That’s not just rope but rope animated by purple magic, and it could continue to strangle Spooky even if the rest of the rope is slack.
I’m hoping Spooky has some trick hiding in his trenchcoat for just such an occasion, but it seems just as likely the good guys are going to lose this round, and hopefully survive so they can try again in round two. Like, it is possible that the bad guy here was instructed to capture Spooky and deliver him to someone else, and thus Spooky won’t die here and now because that wasn’t the plan in the first place.
Spooky was indeed acting in a very prideful way.
Lots of fun speculation in your comment, David. We get specific answers to much of them very soon…
Up until now, he’s only had a few brushes with real danger here on Earth. He’s usually the most powerful guy in the room, by far.
Also the cutest,
Spooky certainly wouldn’t argue with that.
