Yay! Finally some dialogue! This writer has missed the kind of deep connection you can create between characters when they use their words!

So!

So! These two guys are finally talking! Unfortunately, they can’t understand a single word the other one says. How will they work that out? Why did the Shepherd get all grabby? And where is he taking Cory?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. I think this story is getting carried away. . .
Well, someone is getting carried away!
Enthusiastically Carried Away over a cute and adorable set of shoulders.

    I can see it now:

“Hey mom! I found a pet in the fields! Can I keep him!”

  3. :joy:
Weeeeell… I guess Mr. Shepherd is really happy judging from his expression in the last two panels?
Guess he doesn’t know what personal space is though
Either way with how exhausted Cory seems to be I doubt he’d have moved anytime soon so maybe it’s not so bad? At least I don’t feel like he’s in any immediate danger anmore so I can deal with a little skinship… doesn’t mean Cory himself likes it very much though :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

  4. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

Why do you have such big fangs?

  5. LMAO! “can I keep him?” I love it. Some folks have great senses of humor here.

  6. “my oh my granny, what big teeth you have” . . . anyone?

  7. I’m still not okay with this. But Blue Dude does seem more uhhh, benignly excited? Like a kid with a new puppy or something lmao. Then again I could be completely misreading things. that spear staff is still worrisome.

  8. The Shepherd is kinda adorable, huh?

    Wait for it.

    Yes and yes.

It’s certainly a dangerous place to be lying around and unable to fight.

I’m not sure I’ve heard of that word before. What is “skinship”?

I wonder if the Shepherd knows about Little Red Riding Hood.

There is more than meets the eye here, but I could definitely see “benignly excited” in his behavior.

How benign and for how long remains to be seen…

Skinship is a term from Japan & Korea, which translates basically as public displays of non-sexual physical affection, often between members of the same gender.

    I’m a fan.

  10. Oh! I use it since I’ve been reading it a lot, guess I just somehow got to know what it meant from reading it in context all the time but never looked it up until now :joy: But apart from not knowing that it’s originating in Korea I was spot on :sunglasses: It’s not the “actual” skinship here but I reather referred to it like that half jokingly bc of the lack in “personal space” and it involving touching ^^ Still I copied the definition off urban dictionary for you:

In Korea, the term “skinship” is used to describe the act of intimate, non-sexual touching between very close (Usually same-sex, but can include both genders.) platonic friends. It involves acts such as holding hands/arms, hugging, and kissing on the cheeks.

Sometimes it goes even deeper than that and can even involve bathing together, as Koreans (And the Japanese) believe that group nudity helps break down the barriers and helps establish a closer relationship.

It’s not unusual to see Koreans walking and holding hands with each other, even if they’re not in a relationship. That just means that they have a deep skinship with each other.

  11. Very interesting. I’m learning something new!

    Ha! Got it.

And that definition gives me even more context. Very interesting. So a lot of guys hold hands with each other in Korea?

I’ve heard about it in other places. And encountered a bit of skinship myself when I lived for a year in Europe. It’s nice that not all cultures are as uptight about same-sex physical contact as the U.S. seems to be.

  12. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

Hell, they practically climb all over each other. Check out this vid:

    (Don’t worry… it’s totally work-safe.)
